EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN IS CAROLINA COOL!
By S. Kim Henson
Rainy days won’t put a damper on shopping North Myrtle Beach’s 45,000-square-foot indoor market. Neither will the heat index or dropping temperatures since Everything Under the Sun Flea Market has air conditioning and heat. Fittingly named, there are 100 plus booths stocked with everything from electronics and sports memorabilia to fresh farm produce.
Businessmen Wayne Matkins and Jay Baldwin came up with the idea for the project and by the looks of the paved parking lot over the weekend, it’s already offering entertainment for many.
By the way, go hungry. E’DA Burger serves breakfast, lunch and snacks to the flavor of biscuits and gravy, egg platters, chili cheese fries and boiled peanuts, hot dogs, and specialty burgers, just to name a few.
Located at 811 Highway 17 South, across from Dicks Pawn Shop and Big Lots, the flea market is only about half a mile from Main Street. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week during the summer. Off season hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
