Hey, baseball lovers! It’s Cool Cat with a grand slam of great news for fans of our local Myrtle Beach Pelicans. This year marks the Pelicans’ 20th year as a franchise in Myrtle Beach (and the 4th year as a Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) and the organization wanted to thank local fans for a great first two decades. Community First with My Pelicans Program for Local Fans
The Pelicans know their fans from all over the region are a huge part of the team’s success and they rolled out a program with special promotions and exclusive events for fans who sign up for the My Pelicans program – only for local fans. Local fans include residents of the following counties: Horry, Georgetown, Brunswick, New Hanover, Marion, Dillon, Robeson and Columbus. Fans can sign up at local fairs and festivals when they see the Pelicans out and about, or sign up online through myrtlebeachpelicans.com/mypelicans. When you join, you’ll be asked to choose one of three categories so you can receive offers and event news that fits what you’re into. The categories are Active Seniors, Families/Kids and Movers & Shakers (Age 21 and up). My Pelicans members will get special deals and exclusive access to special events all season long. Now, that’s coooooool!
About the Myrtle Beach Pelicans
The Pelicans play at TicketReturn.com Field in Myrtle Beach and the first home game of the 2018 season will be April 12. Single-game tickets go on sale on March 12 at the giant shindig celebrating the City of Myrtle Beach’s 80th Birthday and the Pelican’s 20th Anniversary. Fans can snatch up tickets in person at this event from 4:30 PM to 7PM. Regular sales, including online sales start up on March 13 at 10 AM. Come out and have some birthday cake, get tickets for the games you want to rock out at and sign up for My Pelicans if you haven’t already!
